General Objective:

Train researchers and teachers to produce knowledge and teach based on socially relevant research in the field of education.

Specific objectives:

Train researchers and teachers, with competence to critically analyze the relations between scientific knowledge, society, curriculum and pedagogical practices in Basic Education.

Identify, redesign and develop knowledge about educational reality as a theoretical-methodological foundation for pedagogical practices and educational policies.

Investigate the dynamics of Basic Education in the context of policies, educational management and teaching-learning processes, producing subsidies for a transformative intervention.

To investigate the dynamics of Basic Education in the scope of the relationship between school education, development and human formation.
